Ephesians stands as one of the great towering letters of Paul, the first of his ‘general’ epistles found in scripture. Addressed less specifically to one congregation and their particular situation and more widely to the issues faced by the many, its appeal is obvious. At heart there is the concern that Christians of any and all backgrounds do not see themselves as anything less than full and entitled members of Christ’s body. Jesus the King presides over an impartial kingdom where all His citizens have absolute equality in His sight.
“…there is no partiality with Him”. – Ephesians 6:9
