This Sunday the theme running through both service was Divine Approval.
The Morning service was a communion service and we read from Exodus 29 and considered the meal the Priests ate at the entrance to the tent where they worshipped, after which their ministry to the Lord was sealed.

Then, in the evening, we read from Jeremiah 1 (Jeremiah’s call), but preached from Galatians 1:1-5 and considered Paul’s opening proclamation of his ministry’s seal of approval.

What is clear is that any basis for divine approval, cannot be our works, but only His grace.
