During the evening service we read Galatians 2 from verse 11 to the end of the chapter. It sets out the confrontation between the two Apostles Paul and Peter, and then gives us Paul’s explanation for what was at stake in their dispute.
For Paul to confront such a famous, and significant person such as Peter we would expect there must have been something important behind it, and so there was.
We look at the passage together, and see at heart, the very matter of our justification before God was being undermined, and had to be defended.
In the sermon we consider our responsibility to defend the means of our salvation against anything that would undermine it. You can hear the message here: Jesus only.
