The reading this morning was Exodus 32, the famous incident of the golden calf.
It’s such a familiar story that we could miss what it is exactly that is at the heart of it.
As I re-read it in preparation for preaching it’s message today I was certainly awakened to something I knew, but hadn’t fully taken in.
What struck me is the relevance of this message to my life, and everyone else I know too.
