This evening around twenty of us from the youth club headed over to Ladyfield Church in Chippenham to use their amazing sports, and leisure facilities. We were met by Karen who was such a blessing, making us all welcome and helping out. It was also great to have Naomi join us, doing some of the driving, and getting stuck in.
Jack Humphreys who is down on work experience with us this week did a lot of the planning with Talitha, and it went really well. Good planning really pays off. Lots of games, chip butties, and good ways to make friends.
Jack did the talk too, being very open about his faith, but in a way that really seemed to be accepted by everyone there. He talked about the contentment, hope and thankfulness that Jesus has brought into his life.
